HISTORY

Back on shelves in 2024 after a three-year hiatus

First printed in 2003, South Coast Style gained an audience from across the coast and further afield in the nation. Its final print run was in 2021, until it re-emerged under new ownership in Summer 2024 and printed in Australia.

With an entirely new look, logo and upmarket luxury feel, the new owners foster the same love for the region and a curiosity in listening and sharing stories.

HEAD OF SECURITY + OPERATIONS

Maple

The toughest of the team, Maple manages the debt collection, taking unpaid invoices very seriously. She may look cute, but her pomeranian x chihuahua genes make for a feisty combo. Maple also takes great pride in boosting team morale, often heard barking in the background of our most important phone calls.

Self Expression

South Coast Style is both an expression of ourselves, and the community. It’s an opportunity for the region to have an authentic voice that goes deeper than social media accounts or traditional concepts. This is an opportunity for people from all ages and walks of life to showcase their unique identities and perspectives, in a format that feels real, honest and luxurious.

Connection + Community

We value the local community, and see the magazine as a tool to foster connections across South Coast. The region has so much going for it, and we’re passionate about making that known- not just to locals, but to anyone interested in the South Coast. By telling unique stories, we’re creating opportunities for inspiration, connection and growth.

Authenticity

As South Coast locals, we know just how vast and unique the region is, and we have a genuine desire to showcase the entire region, and the people that make it what it is. With our journalistic approach, small business experience, and local knowledge- we have a unique perspective and a rare opportunity to do something authentic and genuine.

Honesty + Trust

We know how important it is to be real and honest with the community. As locals ourselves, readers will already know they can rely on us to share honest information, and to be a real reflection of life on the South Coast. We aim to build on this trust by telling a vast array of stories, and sharing perspectives of those from all walks of life.
